Family Day: Halloween at the Burchfield Penney

Celebrate Halloween with the whole family at the Burchfield Penney Art Center! Bring kids of all ages for a day of spooky, silly, and creative fun throughout the galleries.
Craft whimsical fall leaf ornaments, design a costume for a paper doll, sculpt a Model Magic clay monster, and get inspired by Charles Burchfield's The Haunted Twilight to draw your own haunted house. Then explore the galleries for a scavenger hunt, discovering artworks throughout the galleries, with a sweet treat at every stop.
Dress in your Halloween best, costumes are encouraged for kids and grown-ups alike!
The logistical stuff: Parking in the Burchfield Penney lot is free on weekends. Walk-ins for Family Day are always welcome — registering ahead just helps us plan! Roux Café will be open from 11am – 3pm.
