ABOUT THE BOOK
Megan lives in the lovely village of Autara, where people see the world a little differently. Loud sounds can hurt, eye contact is tricky, and sometimes the right words just won’t come out. When visitors stop coming, Megan sets out on a brave adventure to show that everyone deserves authentic connection, friendship, and love.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Reagan Fast was born in Buffalo, New York. Diagnosed with non-speaking autism at the age of three, she found her voice at ten through a letter board, showing the world that she had been listening and understanding all along. By twelve she moved from a special education classroom into regular education with an aid, and she went on to graduate with honors in 2023. Today she is a student at Arizona State University studying “Disabilities Studies” with a minor in Biology.
Reagan is a person of deep faith in Jesus Christ. She loves to travel, draw, sing, swim, ride roller coasters, and explore the beauty of nature. Her dream is to help others, especially within the faith community, learn how to welcome and value people with disabilities as equally created by God. Though she is an only child, Reagan treasures the time she spends with her parents, her grandparents, Omi and Opa, and her big circle of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
