Jon Lehrer Dance Company returns to the Burchfield Penney Art Center for another breathtaking and immersive performance inside the Burchfield's expansive East Gallery!
 
This year the space will be transformed into a living, breathing, moving work of art as JLDC creates an original, world-premiere work in collaboration with lighting designers John and Carlie Rickus of Eclectric Oil and Light. The performance will also feature live music performed by John Smigielski.

This performance will begin at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:15 p.m.

Jon Lehrer Dance Company (JLDC) has been based in NYC since 2019, Jon Lehrer started his company in 2007 in Buffalo, NY, creating a unique and definitive style that has received critical acclaim worldwide. With creativity, athleticism, and the ability to make new and innovative modern and jazz dance accessible to all audiences, Jon Lehrer Dance Company strikes the elusive balance between art and entertainment. Panel Discussion and Demo*

Tower Auditorium

An afternoon with all! From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Tower Auditorium, all three of our prestigious dance companies will come together to discuss collaboration. Watch as each company demonstrates some of their rehearsal techniques to one another. This will be an interesting inside look at how dancers train and how each company approaches collaboration. Ask questions and learn how these types of engagements help diversify and strengthen each dance company. And best of all, it’s free if you have purchased a ticket to either of the evening performances.

The demo will begin at 4:00 p.m. with doors opening at 3:30 p.m.
